Tomorrow is the last date for withdrawal.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' In Mamit District, which has three Assembly seats, a total of 14 candidates have submitted their papers. There are 13 candidates who filed nominations in Kolasib District, which has three Assembly seats. In Aizawl District, there are as many as 55 candidates who have filed their nomination spread across 12 constituencies. A total of 11 candidates have submitted their papers in Saitual District, which has three Assembly constituencies. In Khawzawl District, four candidates have filed their nomination for the lone Khawzawl Assembly seat. A total of 10 candidates have submitted their papers in Champhai District, which has three Assembly segments. In Serchhip District, a total of 15 candidates have filed their nominations for three Assembly constituencies. Three candidates have filed their nomination in Hnahthial District for the lone Hnahthial Assembly seat. In Lunglei District, a total of 27 candidates have filed their papers spread across six Assembly constituencies. A total of 13 candidates have filed their papers in Lawngtlai District for three Assembly constituencies. In Siaha District, a total of nine candidates have filed their nomination for two Assembly seats.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' The Indian National Congress (INC), the Mizo National Front (MNF) and the Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) have fielded candidates in all 40 Assembly seats while the BJP is fielding candidates in 23 Assembly constituencies. For the first time, the Aam Aadmi Party is contesting the Mizoram polls by fielding candidates in four Assembly constituencies. A total of 27 candidates have filed their nomination as Independent.<br />'' For the ensuing Assembly polls, a total of 16 women candidates have filed their nominations.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Mizoram will go for Assembly polls in a single phase on November 7 to elect 40 members of the Mizoram Legislative Assembly.
