In Mizoram, the SBI foundation of State Bank of India donated 600 sets of PPE suits worth 11 lakh 94 thousand rupees to the state health department. The bank officials, headed by the SBI regional manager L. P Lalchangkima, presented these personal protective equipment sets to the state health Minister Dr R Lalthangliana.<br />''<br />''The Health Minister Dr Lalthangliana has appreciated the SBI for showing this gesture during the time of fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. He said that these will be very useful as the state is in high demand of PPE suits.<br />''<br />''On the occasion, the Health Minister further said that the state health department will install automated RNA extractor, by the arrangement of the disaster management department. He said that the RNA extractor, which will be installed at COVID hospital at Zoram Medical College, will ensure faster test with the capacity of test results of 800 to 1000 samples every day.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Also, the SBI officials said that the SBI foundation is also working out to donate other equipment including ventilators to the state health department.</span><br />
