Mizoram have lifted the 68th Santosh Trophy for Football . They defeated Railways 3 – nil in the final played at Siliguri ,West Bengal. Mizoram had taken a lead of one nil in the first half through a goal by captain Zeco Zoram Sanga . Zoram Sanga surged again in the 59th minutes to make it two nil for his team. In the dying moments of the match Lalrin Puia made it three nil and sealed the match for Mizoram, who have lifted the trophy for the first-time winner. Railways had bagged the Santosh Trophy in 1966.
