<span style="color: #222222;">In Mizoram, people from different walks of life have come forward in various ways and means during the prevailing situation of COVID-19 pandemic to help people. With over 9000 stranded people, after returning to the home state are put in institutional quarantine centres, many people provide essential materials and foodstuff for the people in quarantine. &nbsp; &nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' In charity and taking care of fellow beings, the Lai tribal people of Lawngtlai district, situated at the remote area along the Indo-Myanmar border, have set an exemplary instance. Initially the community body, the Young Lai Association have donated hundreds of bundles of most essentials including blankets, pillows, bed sheets, buckets, mugs etc for the people put in three quarantine centres in the district.<br />'' <br />'' The Dy Commissioner of the district Mrs Shashanka Ala thanked the community people for providing such an exemplary service. &nbsp; &nbsp;</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
