<span style="color: #222222;">Mizoram government has taken measures to provide food and shelter to stranded migrant workers in the state. Various NGOs, as essential part of the state and district task forces have already started works in providing basic amenities to those migrant workers.<br />'' <br />'' State Home Minister Lalchamliana said that the Home department has ordered each district task force to look into the welfare of the migrant workers in their respective districts and works have already been started in providing relief to the migrant workers.<br />'' <br />''<br />''He said that the central government has advised the states for the setting up of temporary shelters on the National Highway for these stranded migrant workers. Officials said that so far 940 migrant workers stranded in the state have reported to the state government.</span><br />
