<span style="color: #222222;">In Mizoram,  the state govt today doled out essential items and cash of Rs 300 to each of 586 families residing in three complexes under the basic services to urban poor (BSUP) scheme at Aizawl. This is followed by the telephonic talks between the Union Minister of State, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri and the state urban development and poverty alleviation Minister and Dy Chief Minister Mr Tawnluia yesterday.<br />''<br />'' Mr Tawnluia said, the state govt is aware and sensitive of the dilemma of daily wagers during the lockdown, and the state will do all it can to help them. He said, apart from Aizawl, essential items and a cash dole for medicine will also be distributed to such families living in 22 towns.<br />''<br />''Data is being collected to identify poor families living in urban towns and they will be given amenities as per their requirement, an official statement from the state Urban Development & poverty Alleviation department said. </span><br />
