In Lunglei South constituency, Congress nominee Meriam L Hrangchal filed her paper while another Congress candidate Joseph Lalhimpuia filed his paper for Lunglei East constituency.<br />''<br />''In Kolasib constituency, sitting MLA K Lalrinliana filed his nomination as MNF candidate while veteran journalist and MNF nominee J Malsawmzuala Vanchhawng filed nomination for Serchhip constituency.<br />''<br />''In Aizawl North III (three), sitting MLA C Lalmuanpuia filed his nomination as MNF candidate while sitting MLA Zodintluanga Ralte filed his nomination as Congress nominee from Thorang Assembly constituency.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday (18th October 2023) released a list of 23 candidates for the ensuing Assembly polls. The list includes former Speaker Lalrinliana Sailo, who will be contesting from Mamit Constituency. The party is also fielding former Minister K Beichhua from Saiha constituency.
