Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla today congratulated Aizawl Football Club for being crowned the Champion of Hero I League, the country's highest professional football league after a 1-1 draw against Shillong Lajong last evening.The Chief Minister said that AFC's win is a proud watershed moment in the sports history of Mizoram, adding that it is something in which both the Government and the people of Mizoram take equal pride.
