The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) today declared the results for Class 12 examinations. Girl students have once again performed better than boys in Class 12th exams. 12,324 students appeared in the exam this year in the state. The overall pass percentage in this examination stands at 78.52 percent. According to MBSE, a total of 6,591 female students and 5,733 male students appeared in the exam <br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Gender-wise, girls have outperformed boys with 79.14 per cent, while the pass percentage of boys was 77.81 per cent. MBSE Class 12th examinations were held in the month of March this year. The exam was suspended midway due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and lockdown. However, the pending examinations for the subjects of Economics, Sociology, Chemistry, Computer Science and Home Science were conducted by the MBSE between 1st and 3rd of this month, for which over seven thousand students appeared.</span><br />
