The Budget session of the Mizoram Assembly will start from tomorrow and it will culminate on 27th July, 2011. The Budget for 2011-12 will be presented on 14th July by the new Finance Minister. Earlier, the Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla himself was holding the portfolio of Finance Minister, who presented the Vote-on-Account for four months in the month of March because Annual Plan could not be finalized. This time it will be a full budget for the year 2011-12. The session will have 15 sittings and 253 starred questions, 22 un-starred questions and 53 private resolutions.
