In Mizoram, the 75 Days drive of Covid19 Precaution Dose Amrit Mahotsav, starting from 15th July, is going on with high spirit. Officials said that the state health and family welfare department has taken all measures towards delivery of free precaution dose which is receiving good response from the people.<br />'' <br />'' Currently, around a thousand doses per day are being inoculated at various vaccination centres across the state. In the current 75 days drive for Covid vaccination, Central Govt has initiated to provide doses free of cost for ages between 18 to 59 years.<br />'' <br />'' Assistant State Immunization Officer Dr. B. Lalthantluanga said that the people of the state have been very keen on getting vaccinated since day one. And, more supply of vaccines from the Centre is expected to reach within a short period, he said, adding that the health workers will soon be able to administer the vaccine to more and more people across the state.<br />'' <br />'' According to the officials, the state has run the activities under Har Ghar Dastak in the first and second phases, while phase two will last till 31st of this month. Currently, there is a slight difference in the nature of administering these vaccines, wherein, instead of going door to door in private homes, the Directorate of health and family welfare administers these vaccines in government offices and schools.<br />'' <br />''Officials said that 98% of the people of the state received the first dose, and 82% the second dose. As for the free precautionary dose, 58% of Health Care workers have been covered, and also inoculated 44% of Frontline workers and 46% of people above 60 years.
