The BJP today termed the Rail Budget 2013-14 as discriminatory. Briefing reporters outside Parliament, senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde said that the budget has not been prepared keeping in view the needs of all states.

Smajwadi Party President Mulayam Singh Yadav alleged that backward regions were neglected in the budget.

The BSP Chief, Ms Mayawati said that poor and medium class people will not be benefited more through this budget.

The Janata Dal (United) President Sharad Yadavsaid that there is no plan for backward regions in the Rail Budget. On the other hand , the Congress Leader Rashid Alvi described the budget as one of the best.
