Mixed oil prices seen in Asian trade

Oil prices were mixed in Asian trade today as a slump in US crude inventories was offset by economic concerns over Europe and China. New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in January gained 47 cents to 96.64 dollar a barrel in the afternoon. Brent North Sea crude also for January delivery slipped 10 cents to 107.68 dollar.
