Some parts of the MiG-29 fighter aircraft which went missing in Lahaul and Spiti mountains of Himachal Pradesh after taking off from Adampur Air Base near Jalandhar in Punjab on Tuesday evening has been found by the rescue team on Friday. However, no contact has been established with the pilot as yet.
Quoting Army PRO, Naresh Vig, AIR Jalandhar Correspondent reports that the parts have been found in village CHOKHANG.
Meanwhile, crew members of the rescue team have also been increased from 20 to 80, today. One Mi-17 and 4 Cheetah helicopters are carrying on search operations supported by One Avro and an AN-32 aircraft giving ground support.
