Already out of the summit clash, India beat Canada by 5-3, registering their first win in the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament at Ipoh in Malayasia yesterday. Rupinder Pal Singh and V R Raghunath scored through penalty corners before Ramanadeep Singh scored two field goals, while Satbir Singh rounded off the tally with another field strike. For Canada, who are ranked 15th in the world as compared to India's ninth spot, Oliver Scholfield, Jagdish Gill and David Jameson were the goal getters.
