Mirpur: Bangladesh reply strongly in their second innings

Bangladesh were 228 for three in their second innings at stumps on day three of the second and final cricket Test against India at Mirpur today. Left handed opener Tamim Iqbal-151 blasted the fastest century by a Bangladeshi player and recorded double century partnership with Junaid Siddique-55. Tamim hit 18 fours and three sixes. For India, Zaheer Khan claimed all the three wickets for 63 runs. The hosts are still trailing by 83 runs.Earlier, India declared their first innings at 544 for 8. Mohinder Singh Dhoni hit 89. Yuvraj Singh nursing a wrist injury, did not bat. The score -INDIA – 544 for 8 declaredBANGLADESH – 233 and 228 for three.
