Ministry working for simplification, amalgamation 43 Labour Laws into 4 Labour Codes: Bandaru Dattatreya

<br/><br/>Union Minister for Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatreya said that his ministry is working for simplification and amalgamation 43 Labour Laws into four Labour Codes. He was talking to media after the end of Labour Conference of North and Central regions in Bhopal today. <br/><br/>He expressed hope that the two proposed Labour Codes could be brought as bills in the next session of Parliament. He said that labour reforms also include simplification of forms and registers for companies and establishment. Only five registers will exist in place of 56 registers. <br/><br/>Mr. Dattatreya said that the Narendra Modi government is taking help of technology for employment generation. He said that 100 National Carrier Counseling Centers are being set up in the country in the first phase. <br/><br/>The Minister said that the Labour Ministry has taken initiatives to ease the tension of demonetization in collaboration with the states and banks on financial inclusion of workers. He said that 144623 camps were held across the nation and 44.53 lakh bank accounts were opened. <br/><br/>Mr. Dattatreya said that his ministry will arrange tripartite talks between the Centre and states, journalists unions and media establishments for implementation of Majeethia Wage Board. He said that the electronic and digital media will also be brought up under the ambit of social security.<br/>'<br/>
