The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has invited nominations for the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award-TANNA 2022. These National Adventure Awards are conferred by the Ministry to youth in order to recognise the achievements of persons associated with the field of adventure. The aim of giving this award is also to encourage young people to develop the spirit of endurance, risk-taking, cooperative teamwork and quick, ready and effective reflexes in challenging situations. The Ministry said that the award consists of a bronze statuette with a certificate and award money of 15 Lakh rupees.
