Ministry of Tourism today organised Swachhta Hi Seva" campaign at Lawns of India Gate in New Delhi. Tourism Minister Alphons Kannanthanam along with Senior officers participated in the campaign. <br/><br/>Ministry of Tourism has prepared an Action Plan for launching this campaign at various important tourist sites across the country. The Ministry is also observing a 'Swacchata Pakhwada' during the same period. <br/><br/>Cleanliness and awareness activities are to be conducted through Regional offices of the Ministry with active participation from local communities, institutes of the Ministry, state Governments and stakeholders.<br/><br/>The campaign would also be popularised at the 15 places by roping in Celebrities.These place include Rishikesh Ghats in Uttarakhand,Pushkar Temple in Rajasthan,Juhu Beach in Mumbai,Shaking Minarets in Gujarat and Kamakhaya Temple in Assam. <br/>
