The minister for minority and corporate affairs, Mr Salman Khurshid on Friday launched a National Monitoring Scheme to monitor the schemes of the ministry of minority affairs and its organisations in New Delhi.<br/><br/>A Memorandum of Understanding was signed with National Productivity Council in this regard. Mr Khushid said free coaching for the candidates belonging to minority communities, scheme of pre-matric scholarship for students belonging to the minority communities and scheme of Multi Sectoral Development Programme are some of the programmes will come under this monitoring mechanism.<br/><br/>National Productivity Council will select 150 national level monitors, 90 of them to monitor multi sectoral development programme for 90 minority concentration districts and rest to monitor other schemes of minority affairs and its organisations.
