Ministry of Mines has invited comments and suggestions from the general public, State and Union Territory governments, mining industry, industry associations and other stake holders on the draft National Mineral Policy. The last date for submission of comments is 9th of next month. <br/><br/>The policy has been drafted by a committee headed which was set up in the wake of Supreme Court's August last year judgement for revisiting National Mineral Policy. The draft Mineral Policy is available on the website of the Ministry at www.mines.gov.in .
