Ministry of Home Affairs has prepared a fresh panel of three names for appointment of a member of Special Investigation Team, SIT. The team is investigating the alleged fake encounter of Ishrat Jahan and others in Gujarat. Gujarat High Court had asked the Union Home Ministry to prepare such a panel to carry forward investigation in the case.
