Ministry of Finance has released the 6th monthly installment of Post Devolution Revenue Deficit (PDRD) Grant of over 7,183 crore rupees to 14 States for the month of September. These States are   Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttarakhand and West Bengal. Of the total amount, nearly  1,132 crore rupees has been released to West Bengal, 1,197 crore rupees to Kerala , 879 crore rupees to Andhra Pradesh and 781 crore rupees to Himachal Pradesh.<br />''<br />''The Finance Commission has recommended a total Post Devolution Revenue Deficit Grant of 86,201 crores to 14 States for the financial year 2022-23. The grant is released by the Department of Expenditure to the recommended States in 12 equated monthly installments.
