Ministry of Culture today organised the State level final competition for Delhi and the 15th edition of Kathakar under Vande Bharatam at India Gate today. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture urged everyone to preserve Indian culture and tradition. She added that India should be proud of its cultural heritage and 'Sabka Saath and Sabka Prayas' will make India a developed country. She further said that the process of selecting dance groups for the Republic Day celebrations has been made more transparent and inclusive.<br />'' <br />'' The festival Kathakar showcased amazing stories and music by Indian and International storytellers from several countries including the United Kingdom, Australia, Mongolia, Sierra Leonne and India.<br />'' <br />''Nearly 165 participants including 25 walk-ins have participated in the Vande Bharatam state-level finals.
