<span style="color: #222222;">Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' welfare today organised a national conference on Agriculture-Zaid/summer campaign 2019 in New Delhi. The objective of the conference was to discuss about the prospects of boosting production in the upcoming Zaid/summer cropping season.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On the occasion, Minister of sate for agriculture, Parshottam Rupala stressed the need of micro-irrigation and use of technology for the real time assessment of the agricultural requirements. Mr. Rupala also talked about the rampant pest attack during the zaid season and invoked for the scientific solution.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Secretary in the ministry, Sanjay Agarwal, spoke on the importance of the zaid crops in boosting farmers' income and the recent addition of the Rajasthan as the third state for inter-state trade of oilseeds under Electronic national agriculture market (E-NAM).</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The senior officials of the agricultural department of different states, senior officials and scientists from the ministry also participated in the national level seminar.&nbsp;</span><br />''&nbsp;<br />
