Urban Development minister M Venkaiah Naidu said Ministry of Urban Development and Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation have been merged into one. <br/><br/>In a tweet, Mr Naidu said the merger was inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's, minimum government and maximum governance. He said this will create synergy, better coordination and planning between housing and urban infrastructure projects.
