In Tamil Nadu, senior ministers from the Centre on Monday held a meeting to discuss the government's stand on the issue of Sri Lankan Tamils. The issue will be discussed in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by the Home Minister P Chidambaram, Law Minister Salman Khurshid and Minister of State for Personnel V Narayanasamy. They focussed on relief and resettlement of Tamils in Sri Lanka and other measures to promote their welfare.
