Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu today launched Swachh Rail Portal that will showcase ranking of stations and trains in terms of cleanliness. <br/><br/>The portal will also be leveraged to seek passengers' feedback on cleanliness on a continual basis, he said.<br/><br/>Mr. Prabhu released a third party survey report on cleanliness conducted by Quality Council of India in New Delhi. The parameters adopted for conducting the survey are : Evaluation of process of cleanliness in parking, main entry area, platforms, toilets and mainly feedback of the passengers.<br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Mr Prabhu said that we started this process from last few years and in last year view of third party on how to achieve cleanliness was taken into consideration.He added that a great advancement is visible in the regard but competitive approach is much needed towards achieving the goal.
