<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw stressed bringing transformation in  Railways for its better future and helping the economy to grow further.  <br />''<br />''Speaking at the Railway Protection Force Investiture Ceremony in New Delhi, Mr Vaishnaw said that the country's economy can be transformed when the Railways is transformed. Laying out the vision of bringing fundamental changes in the Railways, the Union Minister said, Railways needs rapid absorption of technology to be it in terms of rolling stock, construction or be it safety and cyber security. He said, technology never abolishes job opportunities and instead increased opportunities for the people.<br />''<br />'' Talking about the investment, more investment is needed for the development of Railways. He said that the Narendra Modi government at the Centre has continuously increased the investment in  Railways since 2014 and, this year it has reached one lakh 37 thousand crore rupees.<br />''<br />'' He added that while framing policy, the interest of marginalised section of the society must be taken into account. He also informed that with a view to prioritise projects under the PM Gati Shakti Scheme, the Ministry of Railways has set up a new directorate under the Railway Board.<br />''<br />''On the occasion, the Minister of Railways honoured  RPF personnel who are awarded the President's Medal for Gallantry, Police Medal for Meritorious Service,  President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Jeewan Raksha Series of medals. He also laid the foundation stone of Centralized Command and Control Centre (C-4)  virtually. Besides, he also released Railway Security  Response System Meri Saheli Module, RPF Training manual, RPF Journal and RPF website was also unveiled.</span><br />
