The Government has approved the Minimum Support Prices -MSPs for Arhar and Moong for 2012-13 season. The decision to this effect was taken by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs at meeting in New Delhi. The MSP for Arhar or Tur has been fixed at 3850 rupees per quintal and of Moong at 4400 rupees per quintal marking an increase of 650 rupees per quintal and 900 rupees per quintal respectively.
