In Gujarat, 13 people, including three women and two children, were killed and 25 others injured in a head-on collision between a mini bus and a truck at Gadu village near Somnath-Veraval in Junagadh district. The mishap occurred yesterday afternoon, when a private minibus carrying passengers from Junagadh to Veraval collided with truck. Quoting police sources, AIR Ahmadabad correspondent reports that five people were killed on the spot, while others succumbed to theinjures. The wounded have been admitted to the Government Hospital in Veraval. Some injured are still in serious conditions.
