Mines Secretary Arun Kumar today said, bidding process of mines has been made simpler. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Mr Kumar said, auction of mines process has been amended and 33 blocks were successfully allocated. <br/><br/>He said, the value of minerals auctioned out is 1,70,000 crore rupees. Saying mineral auction rules have been amended yesterday, the Mines Secretary said, changes in auction in rules will lead to enhanced participation in the auction process. <br/><br/>Our correspondent reports, after amended rules it is expected that this will also give a fillip to the auction process and will result in more mineral blocks being auctioned successfully.
