In China, 19 people have been killed in a mine blast in south-western Guizhou province. A gas explosion ripped through a coal mine today, when 34 mine workers were working underground.Fifteen miners managed to escape, but the rest killed in the blast. The incident happened a day after a similar blast at a mine in Hunan province killing nine people.
