It protects against many diseases, he added. He also emphasised promoting millet as an industry and said, by-products of millet should be made on a large scale.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State for Food Processing and Jal Shakti Prahlad Singh Patel said, millet should be promoted so that water can be saved and good nutrition could be provided. Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Kailash Chowdhary said that Rajasthan is the largest producer of millet in India. Millets are environment-friendly as they help cut atmospheric carbon dioxide, added the Minister. On this occasion, prizes and certificates were given to the winners of the exhibition competition.</span></p>
