In Manipur,two powerful bombs were planted in Imphal East and in Thoubal districts by unidentified militants yesterday morning, but they were diffused by security personnel before they went off.

Official sources said in Imphal that one powerful bomb was planted by militants at Usoipokpi area in Thoubal district and another bomb was found at Wakha area in Imphal East district.
