Reports from southern Russia say, militants have carried out an attack in Chechnya on Parliament building in the capital Grozny. At least three guards are reported to have been killed. The situation in Grozny still remains unclear, but it appears that a number of militants broke into the Chechen Parliament complex this morning and opened fire. There are also reports of a suicide bomb attack in the building. There are unconfirmed reports that the attackers took some hostages. According to the latest report from the Interfax news agency, all the militants who stormed the Parliament have been killed. The Russian Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev is in Grozny today on a scheduled visit. Following the attack on Parliament, he will hold an emergency meeting with the Head of the Republic Ramzan Kadyrov.
