In Jammu & Kashmir, an encounter between State police and militants started in Zakura locality, on the outskirts of Srinagar this evening, after militants fired at a police party. One militant Sajad Ahmad alias Sajja of Zewan area, is reported to have been killed in the encounter. <br/><br/>There was no report of any fatal causality or injury to any police personnel till now. AIR correspondent quoting, sources reports that the cordon and search operation was continuing in the area. More details are awaited.
