A militant, who was involved in the attack on passenger bus, was killed in a gun-battle with security forces and police in Rajouri district today. Acting on a tip off, troops of Rashtriya Rifles and Police launched a cordon and search operation in Rajdhani forest belt of Thanamandi tehsil of Rajouri district. IGP,Jammu Zone Ashok Guptasaid, militants, hiding in the forests and maize fields, fired on the operation party. The security forces responded to the attack that led to an encounter this morning.
