In Jammu & Kashmir, an unidentified militant was reported killed in the ongoing gunbattle in Sopore area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district. <br/><br/>An official in Police Control Room (PCR) Sopore told AIR that the encounter broke out early morning today after Army and J&K police launched cordon and search operation in Chhana Mohalla Bomai area in Sopore town of Baramulla district. <br/><br/>Sources said two militants were believed to be holed up in the area.
