In Jammu and Kashmir security forces busted a militant hideout on Sunday in Baramulla district and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition.

An army spokesman said in Srinagar that a joint operation by a Rashtriya Rifles and police was launched based on a specific intelligence input of the terrorist hideout in Tangmula forest of Rafiabad in north Kashmir.

He said that during the search, two AK assault rifles, four AK magazines, 90 AK ammunition rounds, one disposable Rocket Launcher, two rockets, three Chinese grenades and seven detonators were recovered.

This is the third hideout busted by security forces in the past one week. Security forces recently busted two militant hideouts in Bandipora district of north Kashmir.
