In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have busted a militant hideout and seized a cache of arms in Rajouri district. Acting on a specific input, a joint team of army and police launched a search operation and seized a cache of arms and ammunition hidden in a natural cave under a boulder in Sagrawat area yesterday. A defence spokesman said, the items seized included one disposable rocket launcher, two AK rifle magazines, one pistol of Pakistan origin and cordex.

In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces today busted a militant hideout and recovered a huge cache of arms from the forest area in the mountainous district of Doda. <br/><br/>According to Defence sources, acting on specific information, the troops and police launched a search operation in Kindre Forest area. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that the recoveries, which appear war like material, included one AK 56 Rifle, Chinese Pistols, one 303 Rifle, a UBGL, two hand grenades, AK Magazines, Pistol Magazines, Radio Sets and Explosive material along with ammunition of UBGL and 1130 Rounds which were hidden in a natural cave. <br/><br/>The recovery is believed to belong to hardcore Hizbul Mujahidin active in the area in the past.

In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces today busted a militant hideout and recovered ammunition and explosives in Sahuwali forest area of border district of Poonch. According to Defence sources, acting on a tip off, the troops of Army and police launched a search operation in the area which led to the recovery. The recoveries included two IEDs, four foreign made grenades, one binocular, a combat dress with a jacket and some miscellaneous items. However no arrest, so far, has been made in this connection.
