In Assam, a mild tremor rocked Guwahati and its surrounding areas at around 1.15 this afternoon. The quake lasted for few seconds. People came out of their houses out of fear. There was, however, no immediate report of any damage or casualty. The magnitude and epicenter of the quake is yet to be ascertained.
