Mild precipitation gives relief to Delhiites

After the intense heat wave in the month of April, mild precipitation in the capital today brought relief to the citizens from the scorching heat. <br/><br/>Traces of rain were recorded with the maximum temperature settling at 41.4 degrees celsius. This was a 3 degree departure from normal. <br/><br/>The minimum temperature recorded was 26.4 degrees celsius. <br/><br/>The heat will however continue unabated with the maximum temperature likely to settle at 40 degrees celsius. <br/><br/>The met department predicts partly cloudy skies and the possibility of dust and thunderstorms.
