Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Mohammad is being celebrated in different parts of the country today. President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice President Hamid Ansari have greeted the people on the occasion. <br/><br/>In his message, the President hoped that the Holy Prophet's message inspires everyone to work towards universal brotherhood, compassion, and tolerance. Mr Mukherjee said everyone should recall the life and ideals of the Prophet and re-dedicate themselves to the service of humanity.<br/><br/>Mr Ansari said the Holy Prophet showed humanity the righteous path of compassion and universal brotherhood. He hoped that the Prophet's eternal message continue to guide in building a peaceful and harmonious society.
