Milad Ul Nabi being celebrated all over world

Milad Ul Nabi marking the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad is being celebrated all over the world tomorrow. Muslims organise special activities including reciting of the Holy Quran, Mehfal-e-Naat and Qawalis to celebrate the occasion. The event is marked by public gatherings where religious leaders make speeches about the life and teachings of the Prophet. Mosques are specially decorated and illuminated at night and Muslims donate to charity. In the national capital the main functions will be held at Jamia Masjid in the old Delhi area where a large number of Muslims will gather to take part in the celebrations.
