Migration of Indian workers to countries abroad to soon be hassle free countries

Migration of Indian woruntries abroad will soon be hassle free. President Pranab Mukherjee said the government will roll out an electronic migrate project for this. Addressing the valedictory session of the 12th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention in New Delhi this evening, he said a Pravasi Bharatiya kendra will also be opened soon in the national capital. This will commemorate and celebrate contribution of the Indian diaspora to the country by organising seminars and exhibitions.

Mukherjee said enabling factors particularly education must be put in place to attain nine per cent annual growth. He said there is a need to harness the potential of youth to create self-sustainable economic growth.

The President also conferred the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman on the ocassion.
