Thousands of Zimbabwean migrants in South Africa have been queuing outside Government offices to try to legalise their status before the deadline later today after which they will face deportation if they do not have legal permits to stay. South Africa said in September that it would end this special dispensation granted last year to Zimbabweans who fled their country in the wake of instability and economic melt down.
