In West Bengal, a MiG 27 aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed at Narayangarh in West Midnapore district this morning. According to official sources, the aircraft took off from Kalaikunda Airbase and crashed 40 kilometres east of West Midnapore. Defence Ministry ordered a court of inquiry over the incident. However, there are no reports of loss of civilian life and property. The pilot of the aircraft is also safe.
