MIG-21 crashes in field near Mangolia village in Haryana

In Haryana, an Indian Air Force MIG -21 crashed in a field near Mangalia village of Sirsa district.The MIG -21 had taken off from Sirsa Air Force base. According to Haryana government spokesman it crashed due to some technical fault in the engine. According to official sources the pilot is safe, he landed on the ground with the help of a parachute and sustained number of injuries. Three helicopters of Airforce centre rushed to the spot immediately and Pilot has been taken to hospital. There are no casualities on ground.
According to Haryan Government spokesman the pilot is safe and a 19 year old girl working in the fields nearby went into a state of shock upon hearing the explosion and was being treated at the General Hospital, Sirsa.

The MIG-21caught fire and damaged completely, although Firebrigade Vans from Sirsa reached on the spot and tried to control the fire.
