He said that encouraged by the response of the students and on the request of the parents, the Government has decided to re-open Middle Schools from tomorrow in the areas where Primary Schools have been opened from yesterday.  <br />'' <br />'' Mr Kansal said that situation has shown considerable improvement in the State adding out of 197 police stations in J&K,  day restrictions have been lifted from areas falling under 136 Police Stations. Giving a breakup, the Official Spokesperson said that out of 111 police stations in Kashmir Valley,  day restrictions were lifted from areas falling under  50 police stations. Mr Kansal further said that out of 96 thousand landline telephones across the entire  J&K State, 73 thousand landline telephones are fully functional.  He said, Government offices are functioning normally with employees attending their duties fully.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, General Officer Commanding in Chief (GoC-in-C)  Northern Command, Lt Gen Ranbir Singh, accompanied by Chinar Corps Commander, Lt Gen KJS Dhillon today visited units and Formations in Kashmir Valley to review the prevailing situation there. The Army Commander was briefed about the current situation as also the recent counter-terrorist and counter-infiltration operations. Lt. Gen. Singh praised the troops for their relentless efforts in thwarting the adversary's designs and maintaining constant vigil along the line of control.
